Fawn is a flexible, accessible, and inclusive space created for book-lovers and movie-lovers alike. It is a streaming service that includes movies and TV shows adapted from books and print media where users can form book clubs and participate in live viewings and discussions of the movies.

What does the term “book club” mean to you?

Most people perceive the idea of a book club as “stuffy” or are reminded of a time in school where they were forced to read a book for class.

With reading’s recent return to popularity, our team realized that book-lovers were looking ways to discuss their books, but the traditional book club wasn’t what they were looking for.

Our team’s answer to these problems was…

A space for book-lovers and movie-lovers to come together to watch and discuss their favorite stories.

fawn’s visual identity

While developing our visual identity, we centered our components around the idea of inclusivity and accessibility. We wanted to make our platform feel warm and welcoming, reminiscent to the feeling one gets when reading a book, but also give it enough vibrancy that it would make you feel excited to return over and over again.
